Our club had it’s monthly meeting last Monday night. All were in attendance. There were no meeting notes taken. Just got caught up on what was happening with everyone, smoked a couple cigars and drank some beer and whiskey. This month Peter hosted at his condo and we all crowded out onto the deck on a very nice last-day-of-August evening. It actually wasn’t all that crowded, really.
The cigars for this month included a CAO MX2 – Toro Double Maduro; Don Tomas Sungrown – Robusto Natural; Bolivar Cofradia – Corona EMS; and Arturo Fuente – Curly Head Deluxe Maduro.
We get four different cigars each month from an online store that I subscribe to and we just look over their descriptions and we each pick one that sounds interesting. How were they? Well, none of us are pros at cigars so we simply rate them on whether we’d buy one again and smoke it or not. We all agreed that the one we had we would buy again and smoke it. You may ask why there are five people in the photo (in the club) but we only get four cigars. That’s because Skip has a large personal collection and he just brings one of his own and joins us.
It is going to start cooling off in the next month, so it may start getting interesting as to where we will have our meetings. I get the feeling it will be in someone’s garage pretty soon.
Thanks to Peter and Stephanie for hosting this month’s meeting.
