Today’s Thought on Capitalism and Freedom

Staff Sgt. Salvatore A. Giunta, a Vicenza, Italy, based paratrooper, was awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism above and beyond the call of duty in Afghanistan.  The award ceremony was in the White House yesterday.  Giunta, serving with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, and a native of Hiawatha, Iowa, is the first living service member to earn the award since Vietnam.

Here is the full ceremony.

Here is the 60 minutes story as well.  This was really well done and worth the time to watch.
