Today’s Thought on Capitalism and Freedom

Still think illegal aliens aren’t a drain on our country?  Still think they don’t impact your freedom and liberty?

Watch.  Watch till the end.  Listen to whom the IRS says they need authority from to do something about this problem.

But let’s not talk about the problems our country faces over the next 10 – 15 years.  Let’s blame the banks, the speculators, he millionaires and billionaires.  Let’s occupy Wall Street.

Let’s go break the windows down at Starbucks and Bank of America.  It’s their fault.

Instead, let’s discuss gay marriage and student loans.  Next week will tackle other big topics of national interest like how we treat our pet dogs.

Let’s debate anything other then the financial disaster that is awaiting our country.  Let’s ignore the topics of our national debt.  Let’s ignore the topics of our unfunded liabilities.  At least until after the election.

It’s all about bread and circuses.

don’t you think the banks, speculators, millionaires and billionaires, and bank of america are partly responsible for the financial disaster that is awaiting our country?

if you don’t think so, then who do you think IS responsible?

Congress is tasked with establishing taxes, budgets and laws (among other things). The President sets his agenda that he would like to see Congress implement. He also has authority through Executive Orders as well as cabinet and other appointments (an example would be his so call czars) that he can use to influence and carry out his agenda.

They are who are ultimately responsible.

The President and Congress are responsible for both the financial crisis and IRS loopholes. The populace is responsible for the hypocrisy of demands on Congress. The media is responsible for bias in providing the fodder that outrages the populace. The individual is responsible for the country’s impudent leadership in public service supporting their hypocrisy. Or are the collective individuals in society the morons for not being able to see this in the first place and believing the shallow promises of the campaign trail?
